Offshore wind for the future

The ELDEPASCO wind park project was born out of the synergy between the partners Electrawinds Ltd, Depret Ltd, Aspiravi Ltd and WE Power Ltd.

The goal is to develop and build a wind farm in front of the Belgian coast, and then exploit and sell the generated sustainable energy.

The wind farm will be located on the sandbank “Bank Zonder Naam” (Bank Without A Name) in the North Sea, ca 37 km from the coast of Zeebrugge. The surface area is ca 15 km2, the safety zone of 500 m arount the park not included. The wind park will yearly generate 670 GWh, which corresponds to the yearly electricity consumption of about 200.000 families.
